The Universal Serial Bus or simply known to be USB is an industry standard which defines the cables, connectors and protocols used for connection, communication and power supply between computers and electronic devices. They were developed in mid 1990s. Among them, the USB Flash drive, commonly known as PEN DRIVE is one of the widely used electronics device and is of supreme importance to all of us. It has made the storage and most importantly its transfer extremely easier and has almost replaced the short life spanned CDs and DVDs. As we all know the Pen Drive is a very small electronic device with great storage power and has become an integrated part of our day to day lives.
Today I m going to tell you about the Smallest USB Pen drive in the world which is made by the electoronics manufacturer Super Talent.
Super Talent Pico-C, the worlds smallest Pend Drive with a memory of 8GB is being introduced by manufacturer Super Talent recently. It measures only 31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3.4mm which is smaller than even an average key and weighs just 4.7 grams. Its so small that it can even be used as a kaychain an the slot for the purpose is also made available in its design. Beside being such small, it is strong enough to handle. As well as it is even water proof. It has a massive data transfer rate of upto 300 MB/sec.It is also fully compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. It is powered by USB bus so no external power is required. One of the most important feature of Pico-C is its durable solid state storage which enables data retention even after 10 years. And in addition to all these,it has a metal finish body and stylish look.
According to me the the Super Talent Pico-C is a great and reliable Pen Drive to have though it costs a little bit more than the other USBs.
